Pictures: Struble Trail to Marsh Creek State Park

I wanted to share a few of my pictures from my run yesterday. I started at the Struble Trail in Downingtown, PA and ran to the end. Since I had a little extra energy, I ran the short 1/4 mile distance up the road to an entrance I knew of that leads to Marsh Creek State Park. Thankful that it was plowed, and that I had my YakTrax Pro for the ice covering the trail, I continued on. Once I got to the top, the view was amazing. It was pretty cool seeing the lake frozen over. The trails back here are pretty muddy where the snow and ice was not covering the ground, but it was still passable. If I had not just run 3.2 miles, I would have continued on, but that would have been worse because the trail beyond this point was completely snow covered with minimal foot traffic.

Hope you enjoyed these. I wish I would have brought my regular camera to get some better pictures, but I think these still came out great.

  1. this is 2 mins from my house. I've heard the trails are in bad shape and covered in 3 inches of ice. I haven't been in 2 or 3 weeks.
